Fatal Small Plane Crash in Chicago
Late Monday night, a small airplane crashed in the Chicago suburb of Riverwoods. There were five people aboard plane at the time of the accident, two pilots, a man and his wife, and a flight paramedic. The man was being transferred for treatment at a medical facility in the Chicago area.
The plane was within 5 miles of the Chicago Executive Airport, where it was heading, at the time of the crash. The pilot communicated that they were having a fuel issue shortly before the crash.Three people survived the crash, but one later passed away.
